Two fabulous new findings recently under the heading "Why It's Awesome To Be Mormon." One serious and one not-so-serious:

First, the serious. The Sabre Rattlers' new album Twixt Me And The Peaceful Rest is another example of the Mormon hymn revival that has me super excited. Although I've never met him, I've seen Mark Abernathy at church in New York (he's noticable, belive me) and I wholly applaud his moving sound. In addition, one of my favorite Mormon artists, D Fletcher, contributed to the Sabre Rattlers' arrangement of Come, Come Ye Saints.

Now, the not so serious. MormonLore.com. Doesn't every menber of the Church have a story to contribute to this site? :) I don't who's behind this or how long it's been around, I love opportunities to laugh at ourselves. It's this kind of perspective that will help us improve our culture in the future.
